I am a Tree nut. Most
who know me understand my love of natural stones and trees. I have been doing some research on the Tree
of Life and Celtic design when I came across this. I am amazed that so few people realize
that this is a modern design by a very talented Artist by the name of Jen
Delyth. With this in mind I thought I
would share her site in the hopes that more people will come to understand that
many of the designs we believe are ancient are actually fairly recent (within
the last 100 years) designs.
Please share and pass this information on so we can give
credit where it is due …
I hope each and all have a Blessed and Safe Week

Her work is informed by the folk motifs and symbols of the ancient Celts, but woven through her experience and vision as a woman of the twenty-first century. Jen Delyth created her distinctive and widely known image - "Celtic Tree of LIfe" in 1989, inspired by the interconnectedness of all things - the circle of life - plants, animals, the above and below, the circle that connects us all. There are no Celtic Tree images in antiquity, and Jen's "Tree of Life" was one of the first Celtic depictions to illustrate this essential philosophy - that although common to many cultures, lies at the heart of the Celtic religion and culture.
